The “What If Was Wrong? When We Talk, We Learn!” awareness campaign and UNESCO MGIEP’s International Youth Campaign on Kindness for the Sustainable Development Goals are officially launching their youth project on Thursday, June 13.
This event will aim to highlight the importance of education and acts of kindness in preventing violent extremism among young people.
The afternoon will include a presentation of the project and how to participate, followed by a conference on “The Science of Peace” given by UNESCO MGIEP Director, Mr. Anantha Duraiappah, as well as a presentation of an innovative Montreal-based youth initiative from Youth Inclusion.
We invite all young people who want to become agents of change in their communities, all organizations and actors working in the field with youth in Quebec, or simply anyone who may be interested in attending this event.
When: Thursday, June 13th, from 2pm to 4pm
