“WHAT IF I WAS WRONG? WHEN WE TALK, WE LEARN!”

CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

Enter our “What If I Was Wrong? When We Talk, We Learn!” contest by submitting your art project based on one of the five campaign themes.

  • Applicable for contest submissions in the Individual category: Photo, graphic design, text or poem, song or musical composition
  • Applicable for contest submissions in the Group category (Group of 10-30 individuals): Short video, song or musical composition, play

We will be announcing the contest winners on November 16, 2018. Please note that the prize will be awarded for Individual category or Group (comprised of 10 to 30 people) category.

  • Contest runs from: September 21, 2017 to October 28, 2018
  • Entrants: Ages 13 – 35

Special prizes:

  • Individual (Photo, graphic design, text or poem, song or musical composition):
    One winning artwork will be selected for the individual contest category. The artworks will be published internationally and the author of the winning artwork will receive a grant worth $ 1,000 CAD from the Centre for the Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO. The winners will be invited to present their artwork at a United Nations international conference.
  • Group of 10-30 individuals (Short video, song or musical composition, play):
    One winning artwork will be selected for the group contest category. The artworks will be broadcast internationally and the authors of the winning artwork will receive a grant worth $ 1,000 CAD from the Centre for the Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.
