The Art of Self-Expression offered on December 11

The Centre offered an artistic workshop on December 11 for Human Rights Day, hosted by the hip-hop artist and activist Webster, at the organization Actions Interculturelles. This awareness-raising workshop aimed to engage young participants in the promotion of non-violent methods of expression as a response to social issues. They were able to express themselves on important topics about shared community and togetherness.

Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10.

“There will be no peace on this planet as long as human rights are violated in some part of the world.”
– René Cassin, one of the drafters, Universal Declaration of Human Right
